Mark van Bommel is not the only player of the Eindhoven side that celebrated a jubilee goal. The PSV captain scored his fiftieth league goal in his career as a professional football player, against NAC Breda in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium on Saturday night.Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink has also recorded a jubilee goal in that game.He broke the deadlock on 28e minutes from a superb DaMarcus Beasley cross; it was his fiftieth goal that he scored in the service of PSV. Ten minutes later he miraculously found the net again. He scored his 51st goal from a very acute angle. So far he has made 252 appearances for FC Twente and PSV, in which he scored 110 goals.
