Nijland hit four in Young PSV's 6-1 win over RKC (PSV.nl)

Young PSV ran riot against their RKC counterparts in Waalwijk on Monday night. Coach Anton Janssen had including a number of first-team regulars in the starting line-up. His team trashed RKC's second string 6-1. Stef Nijland hit four goals, while Yannick Rymenants and Reimond Manco added two more goals.
First-team squad players
Young PSV fielded a strong team for Monday night's reserve game against RKC at the Mandemarkers Stadium. Keeper Cássio Ramos, Maza Rodríguez, Eric Addo and Mike Zonneveld were all handed a start, while Stef Nijland and Reimond Manco led the line for PSV, ahead of the trip to Liverpool. The hosts took the lead after ten minutes, courtesy of a goal from Nicklas Svendsen, but PSV soon restored parity, scoring three goals in the space of some fifteen minutes. Yannick Rymenants leveled the score for PSV on 24 minutes. Stef Nijland and Reimond Manco extended PSV's lead with goals scored after 33 and 37 minutes, respectively.
Nijland hat trick
Kay Velda replaced Rymenants after the break. Stef Nijland was also on target in the second half. The 20-year-old striker succeeded in beating RKC keeper Stef Doedée three times, scoring a hat trick as Young PSV thumped RKC 6-1. Following this emphatic victory, Young PSV have climbed into third place, behind N.E.C., Heerenveen and De Graafschap.
