PSV coach Huub Stevens had a full squad available on Tuesday morning as the team continued to prepare for Wednesday's Champions League game against Olympique Marseille. Goalkeeper Bas Roorda had returned to the 23-man squad who inspected the pitch of the Philips Stadium.
'We are ready to go into battle'
PSV Fans United had put up a large banner in the Philips Stadium north stand, saying: 'Wij trekken ten strijde = We are ready to go into battle, a line from PSV's club song which Stevens had referred to when he analysed last Saturday's defeat at NAC Breda. The fans had already completed the banner, but they could not have chosen a more appropriate moment to unfold it. After fifteen minutes, media representatives were asked to leave, so the players could continue to train behind closed doors. Huub Stevens will preview the Olympique Marseille game at a press conference that starts at 12:45.
