Heurelho da Silva Gomes was a surprise visitor to De Herdgang training complex on Tuesday morning. The goalkeeper is in Holland and paid a visit to his former club. 'It's awfully nice to be back here', said the Brazilian, who caught up on news with many friends and acquaintance at PSV.

'I'm feeling fine', said Gomes at De Herdgang, 'and so are my wife and children.' The Brazilian is in Nederland to settle some personal affairs and dropped by at PSV to say hello. 'We are living in England. I had a stuttering start at Tottenham, as we lost many games. But gradually things are improving and the players are more confident. I am convinced things will improve at PSV as well. They're having a poor run right now, but things will be fine shortly. It's awfully nice to be back here and see the Van Kemenade family, the players with whom I have kept in touch and the club officials. I sometimes call Ibrahim Afellay, if only to practise speaking Dutch', said Gomes in correct Dutch. 'They drive on the left side of the road in England, and I had to get used to that', he smiled.
