PSV coach Dwight Lodeweges has no further injury worries as he prepares his squad for the trip to the Euroborg Stadium on Saturday, kick off 8.45pm. Saturday's match against FC Groningen sees PSV without Ola Toivonen who serves the second match of a two-game ban.
Wary of FC Groningen's opportunistic style of play
'We must be wary of FC Groningen's opportunistic style of play. They get the crowd behind them and, backed by the vociferous support of their home fans, they attempt to trample all over their opponents', said Lodeweges at his weekly press briefing. Toivonen is ruled out of tomorrow night's match, but other than that Lodeweges has no selection worries. Danko Lazovic as well as Bas Roorda have returned to full fitness and are available on Saturday. 'Looking ahead at the tough fixture list, this is a crucial game for us', explained Lodeweges. 'We are ready for the challenge. FC Groningen are hard to beat, but we feel we stand a fair chance of returning to winning ways. They will try to put early pressure on our defence, but we won't allow them to catch us by surprise.' Zhou, Zonneveld, Ojo and goalkeeper Zoet have been dropped from the match squad by Lodeweges, who is likely to name the same team that recorded a 2-2 draw with leaders AZ last weekend.
