Alex was examined at the Geldrop Saint Anna Hospital this morning, as the Brazilian defender was suffering from a painful ankle after the AS Monaco clash. The examination did not reveal any serious problems. Alex first went to see PSV doctor Van den Hoogenband, as his right ankle was aching. The doctor diagnosed that 'the Tank' has seriously bruised his ankle.Alex will have a tailor-made training session on Friday. It will be decided on Saturday whether he is available for the league game, away against sc Heerenveen on Sunday afternoon. Tape was used to support the ankle.
