De UEFA have announced that Stephen Graham Bennett will take charge of the UEFA Champions League tie between AS Monaco FC - PSV on Wednesday night. The English referee is no stranger to either side. Bennett was appointed referee for the UEFA Champions opening group game between PSV and AS Monaco FC in Eindhoven last season. As many as six players were booked by Bennett. The PSV players Van der Schaaf and Park were booked and four AS Monaco FC players (Rodriguez, Cissé, Rothen and Plasil) also went into the book. AS Monaco FC claimed a 1-2 win in Eindhoven.
