Ahead of the crucial UEFA Champions league tie, away against AS Monaco FC, the PSV first team squad had their final training session in Eindhoven. The squad will leave for the South of France on Tuesday morning.PSV coach Guus Hiddink had a fully fit squad at his disposal. John de Jong was back on the pitch; last Saturday he did not train as he was still troubled by a bruised toe. He has made a timely recovery and is available again. The main ingredient of the training session was a game of football between the first team regulars and the substitutes. Hiddink has called up a twenty-man squad for the trip to Monaco. Michael Lamey will probably stay behind in Eindhoven and two players will be dropped from the squad in Monaco and watch the game from the grand stand. Guus Hiddink will not underestimate his own team's strength, when PSV face AS Monaco on Wednesday night. "We'll summon all our strength and attempt to score a goal. We would like to hurt them by scoring a goal", he told reporters after the training. "I expect Monaco to show a more attacking kind of play, but we will not change much in our customary match plan. But again, we would do ourselves a great favour by scoring a goal."
