PSV supporters have been all over Monaco since this morning. It is quite obvious that tonight PSV from Eindhoven will play a game in the tax haven of the princely Grimaldi family. All terraces in Port Hercule, the fashionable Place du Casino and a shopping centre, at a stone’s throw from the Stade Louis II are alive with PSV fans. Most fans are wearing PSV shirts and the supporters are singing songs at the top of their voices and they are making a racket from tooters and other instruments that produce some sort of sound. There are not many police officers around, as there is no harm in what the fans are doing. They are having a good time; they enjoy the sun and have a pint of beer.A few police officers and members of a special patrol group are stationed near the terraces and the shopping mall, but fans are just having a good time ahead of the game. The supporters have not only come to Monaco by coach or by plane; quite a few fans have made the trip in their own car. Some fans watched the AC Milan - Manchester United (1-0) tie last night and then travelled on to Monaco. The weather is gorgeous, so the atmosphere in the principality is just great. Estimations are that some two thousand PSV fans have made the trip to Monaco.
