PSV have no injury worries ahead of the league game against FC Groningen. A twenty-man squad will travel to Groningen on Thursday morning. In the absence of Guus Hiddink, who is in England, the assistant coaches René Eijkelkamp and Fred Rutten supervised Wednesday morning’s training session. The latter was also in charge of the customary pre-match press briefing."We all know from past experiences that top clubs invariably have a tough time in Groningen. They play two strikers, who can be lethal at times", explained Rutten Although the PSV players are granted little rest these days, they prepared in the usual way for the Groningen encounter. The massive game against Ajax may have been at the back of their minds, but the trip to Ajax will be uppermost on their minds the day after tomorrow. "It is really hard to focus on playing two games. It would obviously have been better if we had had one more day to prepare for the crucial domestic clash. Now we have not much time to prepare our players mentally and physically. We won’t be back from Groningen until in the small hours of Thursday night/Friday morning, so we’ll probably start a bit later on Friday morning." A twenty-man squad will travel to Groningen. "We need all of our players, in particular as we play two crucial games in a few days’ time. Three players will serve a one-match ban against Ajax, if they are booked, but it’s better not to pay too much attention to that."Provisional squad for the league game, away against FC Groningen:Goalkeepers: Gomes, Zoetebier.Defenders: Ooijer, Lee, Alex, Bouma, Addo, Bøgelund.Midfileders: Van Bommel, Cocu, Van der Schaaf, Vogel, Lucius, De Jong.Forwards: Park, Vennegoor of Hesselink, Beasley, Farfán, Robert and Sibon.
