PSV had their Monday evening training session on the pitch of the imposing San Siro Stadium. The players that were not available last Saturday night when PSV played a championship game, Alex and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink to mention a few, were all back to action ahead of Tuesday night’s crucial clash. While a lot of PSV fans that had traveled to Milan were watching, the PSV squad, supervised by Guus Hiddink, did the customary pre-match exercises, such as stretching, delivering passes, playing a game of football and finishing on target. Earlier on the day AC Milan had their final training session at the Milanello training ground. There was a massive turnout of media representatives for the PSV training session. Expectations are that Tuesday night’s game will be played for a sell-out crowd.
