It has been officially confirmed that Mika Väyrynen has completed a four-year deal with PSV. The talented Finnish midfielder has made a move from sc Heerenveen to PSV.23-year-old Mika Väyrynen will be officially presented as the latest signing to the media at the start of the next season. He will report for duty at the PSV training ground De Herdgang on 7 July. PSV have two vacancies in midfield since the departure of Mark van Bommel and Johann Vogel and one of them seems to have been filled by Väyrynen. The Finish international played the past four seasons for sc Heerenveen. Before he made a move to Friesland he was under contract with FC Jokerit in his native country. He made 131 appearances as a professional football player, in which he scored 21 goals. At the moment he is with the Finnish squad to prepare for the World Cup 2006 qualifying game against Holland next week Wednesday.Background Väyrynen started his career in Finland with FC Lahti. He has been capped sixteen times. He was born in the Swedish town of Eskilstuna on 28 December 1981. Väyrynen is the second Finnish player in the service of PSV. Joonas Kolkka had a spell with PSV before him.
