Today the PSV squad will have their second training session in Korea at the Paju National Football Center, which is the training ground and home base of the KFA (the Korean Football Association). Paju is at an hour’s drive from Seoul. Photo shootThe Paju training ground was surrendered at the end 2001 and both the South Korean national team and other teams have training sessions here. There are six pitches, one artificial pitch and many facilities, such as a gym, a canteen and a meeting hall, in this up-to-date sports park. The players will be present at a photo shoot before they start training intensively. Some ceremonies are scheduled for this afternoon. There is, among other things, the Peace Cup 2005 official reception. PSV will kick off the tournament tomorrow. As to the weather in the Korean capital: it is slightly cloudy, but the sun is said to break though at times. It is pretty hot, because of the atmospheric humidity.Ki-Seok ChaEighteen-year-old Korean keeper Ki-Seok Cha (18) has joined the squad on trial. We will publish a report on today’s training session, on the first impressions of Cha, an article on the official reception and part three of the Korean Diary later this day.
