18-year-old goalkeeper Ki-Seok Cha has had his first taste of training with the PSV squad on Thursday morning. The Korean talented youngster was given a hard time by PSV goalkeeping coach Joop Hiele at the Paju training ground during oppressive, moist heat weather circumstances. World Cup U20Cha has been handed a trial by PSV head coach Guus Hiddink. He was in Holland the other day, where he represented his country at the World Cup U20. He joined the squad on Thursday morning. Hiele was up and at it and Edwin Zoetebier and Ki-Seok Cha were made to sweat. Gomes and Nathan Coe, the other goalkeepers in the PSV squad, joined their team mates for a game of football. Interpreter behind the goalKi-Seok Cha, a very tall goalkeeper, is a player of the K-League side Chunnam Dragons. When the severe training session was over, the Korean press wanted to know what Hiele thought of Cha, but the goalkeeping coach said it was far too soon to assess the youngster, after just one training session. The Korean himself also spoke to the media, but had nothing much to say on his trial with PSV.There is room for improvement as far as his English skills are concerned, so an interpreter was standing behind the goal to translate the instructions made by Hiele. Yet, some gestures from the goalkeeping coach and demonstrating the exercises proved to be just as effective.
