The Korean press has paid much attention to PSV in the Saturday newspapers. The four big sports papers all publish articles and pictures on Guus Hiddink, Young-Pyo Lee and the Peace Cup group game against Seongnam Ilhwa. Two uppercuts'Two uppercuts', is the headline on the front page of one of the newspapers, in big, yellow letters. The paper refers to the trademark gesture Guus Hiddink makes, moving his arms to celebrate a goal. Half of the front page covers a Hiddink close-up and a match report. And there is a lot of interest in Young-Pyo Lee and former PSV player Ji-Sung Park. The latter player has been officially presented at Manchester United, where he will wear number 13. Korean journalists write that he has been signed to succeed club legend Ryan Giggs, on the left wing. Many PSV related issues and Peace Cup topics are also covered in the newspapers. Yet Korean baseball is more popular than football these days. The papers have been captivated by the charms of the All Star game of South Korea. American baseball is shown live on TV in the hotel rooms in Gwangju, with Korean commentary.
