A special night was organized on Monday evening for Korean orphans in order to give them some morale-boosting inspiration and to tell them to keep their dreams alive. Guus Hiddink had come to give them a message of hope. Special meetingThe special meeting was organized by the Peace Cup, a big Korean bank which does a lot of charity work and supports several foundations. Dozens of orphans were invited in the hotel where the PSV squad is staying. They were welcomed, listened to a short speech made by Guus Hiddink and had a lovely meal. A dream night to remember forever was the description of the organizational committee. Obviously pictures were taken of the children and Hiddink patiently signed autograph after autograph. All children present lost their parents at an early age and must try to build up their own lives. The foundations and the Hana Bank back them. "The future is sitting beside me", said Guus Hiddink, while a brave girl, who had just made a speech, was indeed sitting beside him. The organization wanted to put across the message that the children should never give up, but keep their dreams alive. One day these dreams will come true. The Koreans had invited Hiddink because he had demonstrated with the national team that people can reach their aims by keeping faith and trust. As a role model for the people he used beautiful words for the children. And he did not address them from behind a desk, but while he was sitting on the edge of the stage. He said that his own Guus Hiddink Foundation might cooperate in future on some project with the organizers of this memorable evening.
