A lot of PSV fans had turned up to see the Monday morning training. The PSV players were on the training pitch for over one hour and a half and played, among other things, a game of football. Another training session is scheduled for this afternoon at 15:00. Large crowdYoung-Pyo Lee and DaMarcus Beasley were absent; they will join the squad later this week. Apart from Eric Addo, who is fighting a foot problem, all the other players were on the pitch. Theo Lucius, who has all but recovered from his injuries, joined his team mates for full training again. The assistant coaches Fred Rutten en René Eijkelkamp, who took part in the game of football, took charge of the squad and the players were made to work hard in small groups. A large crowd watched proceedings from the sidelines; quite a few holidaymakers traditionally like to come and see the players at work and autograph hunters had a wonderful opportunity to add some autographs to their collection. When the training session was over, the players patiently signed autograph after autograph. FriendlyAs put above, another training session is scheduled for this afternoon at 15:00. PSV prepare for the friendly against the German side Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday. The players may very well meet the Danish defender Kasper Bøgelund, who made a move from PSV to Gladbach in summer. The weather in Holland was rather capricious this morning. When the players had their training session, it was sunny and hot at De Herdgang training ground, but at about one o’ clock the rain came pouring down.
