Holidaymakers had come again in large numbers to watch the Thursday morning training session. The players were having another physically tough training session. They did all exercises spiritedly and even passionately played a game of football under summery circumstances. Over two hoursMany people indeed had come to De Herdgang training ground and there were hardly any places left in the car park. While the sun was shining brightly, PSV head coach Guus Hiddink made his players work hard. The players were on the pitch for over two hours. The crowd loved a game of football, which lasted a long time, most of all. All players made an appearance, apart from Eric Addo, who is fighting a foot problem, and DaMarcus Beasley, who is slightly suffering from hamstring injury. Theo Lucius seems to have made a complete recovery and John de Jong is also fit. The three youngsters Roy Beerens, Guy Dufour and Ismail Aissati still join the first team players for training. Afternoon training session cancelledThe training session scheduled for this afternoon has been cancelled. The squad will meet at the PSV De Herdgang training ground tomorrow morning for another training session and they will face the German side Borussia Mönchengladbach tomorrow night. The pre-season friendly will be kicked off at 19:30.
