During the post-match press conference in the ArenA, Guus Hiddink announced that Ajax deserved the win. "We earned a few chances in the first half, but in view of what has been going on after the break, they have every right to claim victory." We cannot earn enough opportunities. We knew that beforehand, as we realize that we are facing a tremendous challenge."When Danny Blind was asked to analyze the game, he agreed with Hiddink. "We deserved a win in the initial stages. We were lucky that PSV failed to score the opening goal. But as the game progressed, we started to dominate for long spells. We created several chances and we fully deserved to win tonight."
