Michael Reiziger was all smiles when he was officially presented in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. The defender was glad he could make a new start and announced he was delighted with his move to the ruling champions of Holland. "In no time""Middlesbrough have been very cooperative", said Reiziger, who is going to wear number 3. "I am ambitious and want to play at a high level. When I was linked with PSV, we completed the negotiations in no time. I know the club and I know the Dutch league. I am very glad to have been given the chance to make this move. I hope we will be able to repeat at PSV what was started last season", said Reiziger at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon. "I had a hard season with Middlesbrough, as I have been ruled out for a long time, due to a shoulder injury. I am glad I can make a new start." Reunited with CocuHe will be reunited in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium with his former team mate Phillip Cocu. "We were in the same team for six seasons, so we know each other pretty well. We were sitting next to each other in the FC Barcelona dressing room. Of course I have been in touch with him on PSV. He has explained the way things are organized over here. And that appealed to me very much. Phillip has most certainly been helpful in making a choice." Reiziger said he had got in touch with PSV head coach Guus Hiddink by telephone. "He was my coach of the Dutch national football team, so he is familiar with my way of playing."
