The UEFA have appointed the Spanish referee Manuel Enrique Mejuto Gonzalez to officiate at the UEFA Champions League group stage game Fenerbahçe-PSV in Istanbul on Wednesday night. Mejuto GonzalezMejuto Gonzalez is no stranger to the Eindhoven outfit. He was referee in 2001 at the Champions League clash PSV - Galatasaray (3-1), a game that was played in the Arnhem Gelredome. And last year the 40-year-old Spaniard took charge of the UEFA Cup tie between PSV against Newcastle United. PSV suffered a 2-1 defeat in Newcastle. The assistant referees in the Istanbul Sükrü Saraçoglu Stadium on Wednesday night are Oscar David Martinez Samaniego and Juan Carlos Yuste Jimenez.
