"The club has undergone a complete modernization in accordance with European standards all those years and a European way of thinking definitely pervades this club." The PSV technical staff have scouted the team coached by the German Christoph Daum a couple of times. Hiddink’s conclusion: "Fenerbahçe are a well-balanced side and they have only strong players. "Six players that I would like to have included in the starting line-up are ruled out. We have some doubts in our squad and tomorrow we are going to see if they can start." As to the latter: "He will face a fitness test tonight and we will find out tomorrow how he has responded."Hiddink expects some heated scenes and a great atmosphere in the Fenerbahçe Stadium.
