A PSV.TV delegation paid a visit to the studio and office of Milan Channel, the 24-hour AC Milan television channel. Milan Channel produces five hours of new programmes on TV each day. Champions League A live broadcast covering the Champions League tie will take place tonight as well. It starts two hours before kick off and after the game there is two hour follow up. As the clubs do not have the legal rights to show the match, the screen is black during the game itself. Apart from the live previews and the summing up after the game, news (Milan News) and shows such as 'Studio Milan' and 'Milanello Live', lasting three hours, are presented each day from the training ground. Since 1999Milan Channel is available as a premium channel through Sky. "A the moment we have some 52, 000 fans that have subscribed to our channel and that pay an additional amount a month", explains marketing director. Elena Guastoni. Milan Channel was the first club channel in Italy. They began broadcasting on 16 December 1999, the day that the club celebrated its one hundredth anniversary. The office and the club channels studio are in between the stadium and the Milanello training ground. Apart from programmes for their own television channel, Milan Channel also produce a magazine that is broadcast world wide, in, among other countries, the USA, China, Japan and even on Al Jazeera.
